Santucci Orthodontics began as more than a practice—it was Dr. Vince Santucci’s personal mission. From day one, he set out to build something that reflected a deeper level of care, precision, and esthetic excellence. Guided by global mentors and a relentless drive to improve, Dr. Santucci has never settled for “good enough.” As he says, “I am not the orthodontist I was last year, and I hope next year to be far beyond who I am today.”
Private practice became his canvas, a place where every detail mattered and every patient relationship carried purpose. What began as a vision has grown into a nationally recognized example of what orthodontics can be: deeply personal, technically advanced, and designed to change more than just teeth. Santucci Orthodontics is now recognized on a national stage for the clinical excellence achieved right here in Wichita, with Dr. Santucci speaking and educating orthodontists across the country.
Now, with Dr. Bateman joining the team, that same mission continues to grow—rooted in excellence, driven by care, and committed to creating smiles that truly change lives.
Dr. Vincent Santucci’s path to orthodontics started early, drawn to the unique blend of biomechanics, artistry, and personal connection the field offers. After graduating from Wichita Heights High School, he pursued extensive training across the country—including advanced education at the University of Missouri–Kansas City and the Eastman Institute in New York—becoming a board-certified orthodontist with a strong foundation in clinical excellence.
Though his education took him far, Wichita has always been home. After meeting his wife in New York, they married in 2017 and now raise their four children in Wichita, KS. From the beginning, his goal has always been the same: to serve others with humility, warmth, and a genuine commitment to care that goes far beyond straight teeth.

Outside the practice, Dr. Santucci is passionate about staying active and centered. Fitness plays a big role in his daily routine, not just for health, but for balance. He’s a committed family man who treasures slow mornings, backyard playtime, and weekend adventures with his kids. He also enjoys speaking at orthodontics conferences and professional events, where he shares his passion for airway-focused treatment, smile design and innovation. Teaching and mentoring other doctors is one of the ways he gives back to the profession he loves.
Dr. Bracken Bateman’s interest in orthodontics began early, sparked by his own experience as a teenager sitting in the orthodontic chair. That early inspiration grew into a clear sense of purpose and a deep commitment to the specialty. He pursued his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University before earning his dental degree from the University of Utah. After two years practicing as a general dentist, he returned to advanced training at the University of Colorado, where he completed his orthodontic residency.
With a strong foundation in general dentistry and a dedication to clinical excellence and high esthetic standards, Dr. Bateman brings a thoughtful and comprehensive approach to orthodontic care. He believes teeth should be viewed as part of the whole face and finds great joy in helping patients achieve confident, natural smiles. He is continually refining his craft and takes pride in providing an experience that is both genuine and compassionate.

Dr. Bateman met his wife in middle school, and they have been married since 2013. Together, they are raising four children, two boys and two girls. As a family, they enjoy playing games, hiking, camping, reading, playing sports, and baking together.
